Order Delivery, Payments/refunds

My Order – Completed Orders

Deliveroo strives to make every order smooth and enjoyable. If there’s an issue with a completed order, you can quickly resolve it via the Order Help feature in the app or website. Simply go to Order History, select the relevant order, and report the problem.

Live Orders

If you notice a mistake after placing an order, you can visit Order Help to request modifications, cancel the order, or change delivery details. While Deliveroo will do its best to accommodate your request, changes may not be possible if the restaurant has already started preparing your order or a rider is on the way.

Order Tracking

You can monitor your order in real-time using the Order Tracker. This shows updates from preparation to pickup and delivery. Note that orders from restaurants using their own delivery may not offer live tracking, but you’ll still receive notifications when your order is on the way.

Fees

Deliveroo may charge up to four types of fees:

• Delivery Fee – Varies by distance from the restaurant. Some restaurants set their own delivery fee.

• Extended Delivery Fee – Applied for long-distance deliveries; discounted for Deliveroo Plus members.

• Service Fee – Supports app improvements, restaurant selection, and 24-hour customer support.

• Small Order Fee – Applied if your basket doesn’t meet the restaurant’s minimum spend; can be removed by adding more items.

Payments & Refunds

Unrecognised Charges

If you see a charge you don’t recognise, first check with anyone who has access to your account. If it’s still unclear, contact Customer Care via Order Help. Include details like the last four digits of the card, issuing company, expiry date, transaction date/amount, and your account email.

Cancelled Orders

Cancelled orders are not charged, but it may take a few days for the transaction to disappear from your statement. Contact Customer Care if it still appears after three working days.

Refund Status

Refunds processed within eight hours may appear as voided on your statement and should reflect within 72 hours. Partial refunds are applied proportionally if you paid with a combination of card and Deliveroo credit.

Klarna Payment Option

Deliveroo supports Klarna, allowing you to pay now, pay later, or split your order into three payments. This option is available for orders over £30.
