Delivery & Return Policy at Toolstation

Delivery

• Orders under £40 incur a delivery charge of £5; orders over £40 qualify for free standard delivery.

• Next Business Day Delivery is available for most areas when orders are placed before the cut-off times (9 pm Monday-Thursday, 5 pm Sunday), with delivery expected before 6 pm the next working day.

• Pre-12 Delivery (before 12 pm) is offered for a higher fee.

• Weekend delivery is available (Saturday and Sunday) under certain conditions, with a tiered delivery charge depending on order value.

• Orders containing items shipped directly from suppliers may have separate shipping times and will be split into multiple deliveries if necessary.

• For remote or rural addresses (e.g., Highlands, offshore), delivery may take longer, and some premium options may not apply.

• Click & Collect is available: if items are in stock at your selected store, they can often be ready to pick up within 5 minutes.

• Toolstation also offers a Fast Track / same-day delivery service (via TradeKart) for eligible products and addresses.

Returns & Refunds

• Toolstation provides a 30-day Money-Back Guarantee: you can return most items within 30 days of purchase or delivery for a refund or exchange, if they are unused and in original condition.

• For non-faulty returns (changed mind), a collection fee of £9 may apply.

• If an item is faulty, return it to a physical Toolstation store (within 30 days) or contact customer service for collection. Postage costs for faulty items will be refunded once the fault is accepted.

• After 30 days but within 12 months, Toolstation may offer repair or replacement (if the issue is due to a defect and not wear & tear).

• Refunds are processed once the item is received and inspected. The refund is typically made back to the original payment method within 14 days.

• Some items, especially those shipped directly from suppliers or special orders, may have different return policies. These exceptions are usually noted on their product pages.
