Monthly Fee, Payment & Cancellations

Monthly Fee

JD Gyms offers different membership types, including Fixed Members (with a set contract period) and Monthly Members (on rolling monthly contracts). PLUS+ Members are those who have upgraded to enhanced membership benefits. The monthly fee varies depending on your membership type and any applicable promotional offers.

Payment

Fixed Members pay a Joining Fee plus their first Monthly Fee upfront, followed by Direct Debit payments each month for the duration of their contract. Monthly Members also pay a Joining Fee and first Monthly Fee upfront, then continue on a rolling payment plan with no ongoing contract. Promotional Codes may apply to your fees for a limited period, after which standard fees resume. All payments are required, even if you do not attend the gym, except during emergency closures. Late or missed payments incur a £15 administration fee. JD Gyms may adjust fees for Monthly Members with at least four weeks’ notice, while Fixed Member fees remain unchanged during their contract period.

Cancellation

New members have a 14-day Cancellation Period from the date of signup to cancel their membership online or at a branch without giving a reason. If canceled within this period, the Joining Fee and any other paid fees will be refunded, and gym access will end immediately. After the 14 days, cancellation is only possible under specific terms outlined in the membership agreement. Members are advised to review the full terms and conditions for any post-Cancellation Period cancellations or changes.
