Avanti West Coast is generally reliable and the rewards system is nice. The journey itself is fine, but nothing stood out as particularly enjoyable. Quite pleased with it, though.

Always use Avanti for long trips. The trains are clean and punctual. Only reason not five stars is the wifi can be a bit patchy sometimes.

Website is straightforward and I got a good deal with advance tickets. Journey was mostly hassle-free. Could do with more onboard snack options though.

Trains were clean, seats comfy, and we arrived right on schedule. Quite pleased with the overall service, definitely better than I expected.
